THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED is the provocative documentary from Kirby Dick and producer Eddie Schmidt which rips apart the MPAA film ratings system. Dick investigates whether studios get different treatment, why violence and sex are treated so disparately, and why the MPAA ratings must operate behind a veil of secrecy.
The film uses a wide range of music sources, including several pieces by Blake Leyh. Kirby Dick's previous film
TWIST OF FAITH, also with music by Leyh, debuted in competition at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for best documentary feature.
