N TO THE POWER is a band from New York City led by Blake Leyh and Tony Jarvis. We play instrumental music with winds, strings, percussion, and electronics.

 

The debut vinyl album AUTOGENƎSIƧ will be released in September 2020.

 

BLAKE LEYH is an Emmy-winning, Grammy-nominated, Harlem-based composer, multi- instrumentalist, and sound designer who’s worked with The Coen Brothers, John Waters, Spike Lee, and Jonathan Demme. Leyh was the music supervisor for David Simon's HBO shows The Wire, Treme, and The Deuce.

TONY JARVIS is a jazz saxophonist, bass clarinetist, guitarist, and composer who studied with Roscoe Mitchell and played with Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Charles Bradley, and in the Broadway musical Fela!
